A second real-iPhone review of the Stage 1 Dashboard found three
defects. This fixes them, and ADR 0065 records the decisions.

- Settings -> Displays now sets up a screen in one place. A "Set up a
new screen" panel shows the platform display page to open on the
screen, a Copy link button, and Add display directly beneath it; the
step-by-step version is folded into a <details>. The addresses come
from a new GET /api/v1/devices/setup, which requires
core.devices.manage and lists each running display module's
/display/<module-id> page. Nothing names Signage. With no display
module installed, the panel says so and offers no Add display.
- iOS Safari zoomed into the pairing field because the shared
.ek-control rendered at 14px. On phones and touch screens it now
renders at max(1rem, 16px). The viewport is untouched, so zoom stays
available, and a test guards that. The shared focus trap now returns
focus with preventScroll, so closing a dialog no longer moves the page
  under the phone header.
- While the phone drawer is open, the page behind it no longer scrolls.
The root's overflow is hidden, a non-passive touchmove listener
cancels drags outside the drawer's list and overscroll past its ends,
and root overscroll is turned off. The list itself still scrolls.
Closing restores the exact scroll position unless another page opened.

The assembled Stage 1 Dashboard was reviewed by hand on a desktop, with
the sidebar collapsed, and on an iPhone. This fixes what that review
found, and records the decisions in ADR 0064:

- Discover is its own page at /settings/discover, with Installed and
Updates beneath it as children. There is no Browse item any more.
/settings/discover/browse is still read, as an alias, and is respelled
in place. Parents and children now read as a hierarchy: a guide line,
text-only children, a disclosure chevron, and parent and current
  states that look different.
- The sidebar is navigation only. Display pairing moves from the sidebar
and drawer to Settings -> Displays: the paired displays, a deliberate
  Add display dialog, and revocation. Nothing takes focus on arrival;
the code field is focused only once Add display is chosen.
- Collapsed icons are centred. Nav-link layout moves from inline styles
to the shell stylesheet, and every collapsed item is one square
  centred on the rail.
- /settings is an overview of the installation: displays paired,
modules installed and running, and a line for each other area. It
  reads only existing endpoints.
- Phones get a sticky, safe-area-aware header holding the menu trigger
and the page name. New pages start at the top, and focus no longer
  scrolls content under the header.
- @ekklesia/ui draws checkbox and radio indicators from tokens rather
than accent-color, so the selected state is the strong accent in
  Light and Dark alike.

ekklesiaandClaude Opus 5.5 d42b64a093 feat(theme): Light/Dark/System, reduced motion, and one radius scale

The theme foundation DESIGN.md requires (ADR 0060):

- A design token may carry a `dark` value and a `reduced` value. The
token stylesheet selects them in CSS alone: dark under
prefers-color-scheme unless the host chose light, or when it chose
dark; motion durations zero under prefers-reduced-motion unless it
allowed motion, or when it chose reduce. `color-scheme` travels with
the tokens. System is live, an explicit choice wins, and every module
root follows through custom-property inheritance, with no module
  contract change.
- @ekklesia/design-tokens adds a small appearance API: system/light/dark
and system/reduce/allow, parsers for untrusted stored values,
resolvers, and a controller that applies the attributes immediately.
The shell applies it before React renders. That is the hook the
account preferences work will feed; nothing is persisted. The
Dashboard page declares `color-scheme: light dark` so a dark system
never flashes white. Displays stay light.
- A designed dark theme: teal-tinted charcoal, never pure black or
  white, the same teal accent.
- WCAG AA contrast is tested for 41 element pairings in both schemes.
Two light pairings failed and are fixed visibly: text.muted darkens,
and form controls get a new border.control (3:1).
background.placeholder keeps skeletons visible in dark.
- Motion tokens (duration-short, duration-ambient) replace literal
  durations and every per-element reduced-motion rule. radius.scale
multiplies sm/md/lg, unchanged at its default of 1.
- The sign-in card and module loading/error text move from literal
colours to tokens. Guards keep raw colours and literal radii out of
  Dashboard product source and @ekklesia/ui.
- Fixes ConfirmationDialog's phrase input, which used a class that
does not exist (`ek-input`) and so was unstyled.

ekklesiaandClaude Opus 5.5 5a7d44781b feat(ui): shared confirmation, toasts, error, skeleton, and Back primitives

Stage 1's later screens and modules need the interactions DESIGN.md
fixes once for the product (ADR 0059). @ekklesia/ui gains them,
additively:

- ConfirmationDialog: simple, destructive, or typed-phrase
confirmation, with severity chosen by the caller. Destructive is
marked by symbol and frame, not colour alone, and starts on Cancel.
A required phrase must match exactly (forgiving only surrounding
whitespace and NFC). While busy, Cancel and Escape are disabled.
- ToastProvider / useToasts: a top-center toast system per React tree,
never a package singleton (ADR 0040). Live regions are mounted
before any toast arrives; errors are assertive and persist until
dismissed; routine toasts last at least three seconds and longer for
  longer text. Timers pause on hover and focus; duplicates refresh;
errors are never displaced; every timer is cleared on unmount.
- ErrorState: recovery actions, plus collapsed technical details and a
reference, rendered as bounded inert text.
- Skeleton / SkeletonGroup: an aria-busy region labelled once, with
  every animation stopped under prefers-reduced-motion.
- PageHeader `back` (link or button) above the page's one h1.
- Dialog: the focus trap ADR 0039 deferred, plus focus restoration and
an accessible description. Escape is now handled on the dialog
itself, so a drawer it was opened from stays open.

The shell validates Back targets (parseReturnTarget, dashboardBack):
only a canonical Dashboard page on this origin is accepted, otherwise
Back goes to the page's parent. It never uses history.back().

Biome's scope-aware suspicious/noAlert is now an error in the root
biome.json. tests/native-dialogs.test.ts proves it catches real
dialogs and not lookalikes, and scans for the forms the rule misses.
It supersedes the shell-only regex test.

ekklesiaandClaude Opus 5 e03d38fcab feat: give every Ekklesia screen one set of design tokens and elements
Modules have owned their own UI since ADR 0021, but the platform has never
said what that UI should look like. Every screen here — the Dashboard shell,
the display host, the module template — invented its own hex colours, font
stack, spacing, and radii, and they already disagreed. A module author had no
vocabulary for "the ordinary panel background", so the only available answer
was to invent one, and two modules would invent two.

Add `@ekklesia/design-tokens`: one validated, enumerable registry of semantic
tokens. A token declares a name, label, description, and default value; its
category and `--ekklesia-*` identifier are derived from the name, so it can
never claim one category while being named for another. Construction rejects
duplicates, malformed names, unknown categories, empty or overlong text, and
any value that is not a bounded literal — no declaration terminator, rule
block, comment, at-rule, `url(`, `!important`, escape, control character, or
markup. A registry that constructs can therefore be emitted as CSS without
escaping, because nothing needing escaping can be in it. That validation is
also what makes a future theme editor implementable rather than aspirational.

Add `@ekklesia/ui`: button, icon button, text input, select, checkbox, field
wrapper, panel, dialog, tabs, table and list primitives, badge, toast, and
empty/error/loading states — every value a token reference, with real
`:focus-visible` treatment and status that never depends on colour alone.
Deliberately small: an element earns its place when two consumers need it.

The stylesheet is a string rather than a `.css` file so the identical bytes
install into a document or an isolated artifact root, and so hover, disabled,
and focus-visible are real CSS rather than JavaScript approximations of them.

`pnpm boundaries` opens exactly two shared roles to modules, by name — every
other role stays rejected — and pins both design packages to the bottom of the
presentation stack. Both are browser-safe by construction, proven by a real
compile of module-shaped source in which `process.env` must fail to typecheck.

The shell installs the defaults at its document root for the Dashboard and the
display; custom properties inherit into module artifacts, so a module reads
`var(--ekklesia-…)` with nothing to import at run time and nothing for a host
to forget to pass.
